Unlike some of the strange creatures you encounter, there are some which are harmless, unfortunately only one can be tamed and become a pet of your own (added bonus for all your effort, they bring you useful items, most of the time).
Now cause these little buggers like to run off whenever, getting them back to base can be a little tricky. But once you get them home, it will all be worth it!
Building a pen is recommended to keep them contained. Now they might not need to be feed, but don't be mean and share your berries with them, they may decide to get revenge if you don't!
To tame one of these wonderful creatures as one of your own, use the following steps in order:
- Find a berry plant
- Grab the berry
- Find a doggo
- Once you have a doggo target, make sure it is looking at you
- Drag the berry you collected before out of your inventory (not into your hand)
- Step back from the berry
- Wait for it to come up to the berry and eat it
- Once eaten it should be licking it's lips
- Go up to the doggo and pet it
